From 1st November 2014 a compulsory city tax is required to be paid by the GUESTS on top of the rates on all booked hotel accommodation in Belgium and Morocco.

For Belgium, the fees vary per hotel and per administrative area, with maximum amounts as follows:
• up to €10.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 5 star hotels
• up to €8.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 4 star hotels
• up to €6.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 3 star hotels
• up to €4.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 2 star hotels
• up to €3.00 PER ROOM PER NIGHT for stays in 1 star hotels

For Morocco, the fees vary per hotel, with approximate amounts as follows:
• Dh 33.00 - 50.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 5 star hotels
• Dh 25.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 4 star hotels
• Dh 22.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 3 star hotels
• Dh 21.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT for stays in 2 and 1 star hotels

This fee is to be paid by the GUESTS directly at the hotel before the end of the stay, even if the accommodation was booked and paid for before 1st November 2014.
