Ανοίγω αυτό το θέμα επειδή αρκετοί από εμάς αγαπάμε τα εθνικά πάρκα της Αμερικής.

Από το 2026, ακριβαίνει αρκετά αυτό το σπορ όμως...

Changes to Entrance Fees and Passes in 2026
Beginning January 1, 2026, changes to entrance fees and passes include:

• America the Beautiful passes will cover entrance fees for up to two motorcycles.
• A new America the Beautiful pass for nonresidents of the US will be available for $250. All other America the Beautiful passes will only be available to US citizens and permanent residents.
• Entrance fee free days will only apply to US citizens and residents. Nonresidents will be required to pay entrance fees and applicable nonresident fees.
• The following parks will have a nonresident fee of $100 for each person (16 and over) who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. This nonresident fee is in addition to the standard entrance pass (Private Vehicle, Motorcycle, Per Person): Acadia National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Everglades National Park, Glacier National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Parks, and Zion National Park.

Each America the Beautiful Pass is issued to one person (the pass holder). The pass holder must be present whenever the pass is used. Valid photo identification required.

• For locations or areas that charge fees per vehicle, an America the Beautiful Pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle.
• For locations or areas that charge fees per person, an America the Beautiful Pass admits the pass holder plus 3 adults (16 and older), not to exceed 4 adults.

Valid for 12 months, from purchase date through end of the same month in the following year.

Ισχυει, εχω επικοινωνησει και με Yosemite και Grand Canyon και το εχουν επιβεβαιωώσει

Ευχαριστώ παρα πάρα πολύ. Αν κατάλαβα καλά μας γλίτωσες 570$. !!!!!!! Είμαστε 4 άτομα, αρα 250$ το pass και 400 για τά άτομα=650$. Ενώ τώρα δώσαμε μόνο 80!!!!!!

Το πασο που κανει 250 ευρω, ισχυει για ένα χρόνο και για όλα τα πάρκα; Και επιπλεον απο το πασο θα πρεπει να πληρωνει το ατομο 100 δολλαρια σε καθε παρκο; Εχω μπερδευτει.

• A new America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass will be available for $250. All other America the Beautiful passes will be for US citizens and residents only.
• At the following national parks, nonresidents age 16 and older must pay a $100 nonresident fee in addition to the regular entrance fee, unless they have the Nonresident Annual Pass: Acadia National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Everglades National Park, Glacier National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, and Zion National Park.
• Depending on the type of entrance fee charged at a site, covers

I asked NPS via mail (contactform on their website) and they confirmed me that 'the passes bought in 2025 will be honored at the terms under which they were purchased'.
Below is the full reply they sent me:

Thank you for your inquiry about the America the Beautiful—the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass and new non-resident fees.
As you noted, beginning January 1, 2026, a $100 fee will be charged (in addition to the entrance fee) to each non-U.S. resident aged 16 or older entering any of these 11 parks: Acadia, Bryce Canyon, Everglades, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain, Sequoia-Kings Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Zion. President Trump issued Executive Order 14314 directing the Interior Department to develop a strategy to increase revenue and improve recreational experiences at national parks by appropriately increasing entrance fees and recreation pass fees for non-residents in areas of the National Park System that charge entrance fees. Revenue generated from these new fees will be invested directly back into America’s national parks, supporting upgrades to visitor facilities, essential maintenance, and improved services.
At parks that charge a per-vehicle fee, the new $250 America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass will cover the entrance fee for the pass holder's vehicle or two motorcycles and will cover the $100 non-resident fee for any non-US residents in the vehicle or on the motorcycles.
At parks that charge a per-person fee, the new $250 America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass will cover the entrance fee and $100 non-resident fees for the pass holder and three additional people aged 16 and over.
America the Beautiful Passes purchased before the new Non-Resident Annual Pass takes effect on 1/1/2026 will still be honored at the terms under which they were purchased. Anyone using a valid pass purchased in 2025 or before and those traveling with them in a vehicle will not be charged the entrance fee or $100 non-resident fee.
